Navigating Cancer Care
When you are diagnosed with cancer, you enter a new world that can be confusing and overwhelming. That’s why Mission Hospital provides you with a patient navigator, an experienced staff member that helps you sort through the options and resources. Mission is partnering with the American Cancer Society to provide this innovative support service; we were selected as the first hospital in the Carolinas to participate in this partnership.
Our patient navigators are available to any cancer patient, and provide easy-to-understand information, assistance with financial and insurance issues, and connections to survivors for emotional support.
